Sorry I posted this on the wrong thread, but you all get the idea lol)
I can power walk for an hour and not get tired, and before I could barely go for a 20 min walk without needing to stop and rest.
I can fit into size 8 pants now and before I was in a size 18.
I can go swimming now, whereas before, i wouldn't be caught dead in a swim suit :-)

What can you do now that you couldn't do before ?

I've had shoulder issues for the past 6 year and this summer I started lifting weights that are actually heavy for me. And my shoulder is feeling so much better! Not perfect but I can now sleep on my right side again!!!

Wear high heels without my toes feeling like they're getting broken

    Run a half marathon

Barbell squat & Deadlift more than my bodyweight

And the most difficult challenge yet: eat a single serving of Ben & Jerry's & put the rest away (most of the time!)

    Quite a few things actually.

    * After my extended stay in the hospital, I couldn't walk or support my own weight due to a drug allergy [caused muscular degeneration]. Now I can walk almost normally again, though inclines are still an issue.
    * I'm much more energetic than before, and my stamina is a lot stronger.
    * Do actual pushups, though with the assistance of a medicine ball.
    * At the moment, bench press around 30 pounds [before I could only do 5 pounds due to the muscular degeneration]
    * Walk to our local Kroger and back without too much trouble [2 mile walk round trip]

I finished the whole of my "mommy fitness class" today. It was the first time in two years! (This was admittedly helped by the fact that it was my first time doing it without baby in tow since then - but I am also a lot fitter than I was six months ago.)

"Class" is circuits of run-around-the-track then do three sets of exercises (one squat/lunge/kick based, one resistance band for upper body - often with more squats/lunges, one floor work for abs/legs/butt). Ten circuits is the whole class. My previous recent best was eight.

Get out of my chair. Walk up my steps. Basic, but important. I never want to forget how hard these things were 2 years ago.
Walk miles every day. Run 2-3 miles a few times per week. Feel energetic.
Inspire others to get moving. Control my eating habits.
Fit in an airplane seat. Lift heavy things. Shrink out of my clothes.
    Pretty much EVERYTHING.

A few months ago we went hiking at "Craters of the Moon" park, here in Idaho. Lava fields and caves. I went in caves, crawled through caves and scaled lave rock that was straight up for 6-8 feet. For some, not a big deal, but for me, this was HUGE. Being able to grasp the rock and physically pull myself, having the flexibility to stretch my foot to the nearest ledge as I was climbing. It was an incredible feeling and a HUGE milestone for me. :)

Hike the trail in NH that I couldn't do last year! It wasn't a huge trail by any means but damn I'm proud of myself!
