I am trying to get my full servings of fruit and veggies daily...however I feel that by doing so, I am eating a lot of carbs. Are the carbs in fruits and veggies healthy and different than other carbs? Very confused on this issue! Thanks!!

Fruits and veggies are very important. While they have carbs and sugars, I believe it's different than bread, crackers, and other starches. I'm not exactly sure what your eating plan is, but in mine, I don't count it unless I am extremely over doing it. I stay green on my charts all except for sugars and protein.0

Those are the complex or good for you carbs that help fill you up &, keep you feeling full longer.0

I ate an apple, a banana, and a few strawberries today. I also ate brussel sprouts and a baked potato, and cereal for breakfast. CARB OVERLOAD, but I don't think it is that big of a deal. All "good for you" foods can't be that bad, despite high carbs. Carbs are energy!0

Surely even low carb diets allow for fruit and veg apart from maybe the first week or two to get you kick started. In my view the carbs to avoid are the processed ones. My personal guideline is that if it was around before the industrial revolution it's all right by me!0
