I took them for about 5 months and nothing happened for me. Was also taking them with green coffee bean extract.. and it just was a waste of $40, in my opinion.

Raspberry Ketones were the only diet fad I've ever tried. All I did was burp raspberries for 2 hrs every morning.

I recommend you have more faith in yourself and less in the fake diet pills. You lost weight because you put some effort into diet and exercise. Well done!

The pills made your wallet lighter. You don't need them.

What does your doc suggest as an approach to managing your PCOS? Many women find that either reducing their carbs, or reducing the amount of refined carbohydrates helps with both symptoms and weight loss.

Raspberry ketones do nothing, as others have said.

That sounds great. You're working on tackling a major obstacle. Ask your doc for some dietary guidance or a referral to a dietitian. In the meantime, try to be patient. Weight loss isn't a race, and there are no shortcuts, no matter what Dr. Oz and the women's magazines tell you. It may be a while before you can make real progress, but with the right treatment, advice and persistence, it will come.

Raspberry Ketones are a gimmick. Plain and simple. It wasn't the capsules that worked for your friend, it was the diet and exercise. Are you positive you're staying in your calorie range? Are you weighing everything, even prepackaged foods? You will find HUGE caloric discrepancies once you start weighing everything out.

Also, with PCOS, do NOT take over the counter supplements without first getting it approved by your doctor. It can do much more harm than good. Please talk to your doctor about a referral to a dietitian who specializes in nutrition for PCOS sufferers.

I totally get it...I used to have PCOS but had an emergency hysterectomy after a very dangerous pregnancy/childbirth...and I have other autoimmune issues that make my body react much different than the average person. Talking to someone is great, but you need to be having these conversations with someone who can give you a good meal/diet plan (dietitian)...if this doctor you are seeing in the psychology department is one you trust, ask them for a referral to a nutrition specialist.

Results are never immediate or linear.

Do you weight everything you eat on a food scale? If not, you may be eating more than you think without realizing it.

Just remember PCOS is all about hormones and insulin resistance, so taking of these fake diet pill miracles can actually sometimes hurt you in the end. I too have PCOS and unfortunately you will find your weight loss journey takes longer than the average women but it is possible. As someone suggested above, carbs and sugar are a big part of it, you can still have them but I try to limit my carbs to no more than 100 to 120 a day max and I don't go over the recommend 45 grams of sugar a day as I find if I do it just causes wicked cravings (which I am told can be part of PCOS). I am lucky my PCOS is mild, but I also have no thyroid, you will find that there are a lot of women on here with more severe PCOS symptoms that only had luck when they really limited their carbs.

I've a low thyroid, I know it's not the same condition but low carb works wonderfully for me. Raspberry ketones are completely and totally useless. I mean 100% useless. If your friend lost weight it wasn't down to them. I actually can't believe that scam is still going.
I echo what someone else said about getting a proper nutrition plan from your doc - maybe change what you're getting your calories from. Also, maybe add weights or HIIT into your routine, little walks every day are useful but if it's not working you need to shake it up a bit x You do not look like you need a gastric band, it seems extreme unless you've tried every single other option.

ive tried weight watchers, slimming world, my own sort of diet with no junkfood, hardly no high fats/sugars drinking only water, going too the gym etc but it just wont shift. i weigh most things using scales but i need some better ones.

i could lose 3lb but then put it back on and sometimes more within a week and thats eating the same/similar food and doing the same amount of exercise.

i dont have any biscuits, chocolate, cakes etc as me and my partner have cut them out completely, i dont have any type of pastry based foods, i dont drink anything that has loads of sugar in it (only diet coke-maybe 3 330ml cans a day or not even that, water and diluted pop).

i have either veg or fruit and meat with every meal and sometimes i have new potatoes (plain) and maybe 2 slices of bread a day (whether if its a sandwich or toast) and i try too burn more then 400calories a day depending on whether im in pain or not

Like many others, I tried them and they were useless. It's just a waste of money.
