What fitness equipment do you all use at home ?
Do you find time to use it all or do you just stick with your favourites ?

What is your favourite ?
and your least favourite ?

Rebounder! I've had Urban Rebounder for years, and I've just purchased Jumpsport from Costco. I use rebounder for all my high-impact cardio (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire etc) and it really saves my joints, and it's fun! Urban Rebounder is OK, but because it has springs, it's loud and I find it distracting. Jumpsport, from what I read, is much softer and whisper-quiet. I am sooo looking forward to getting it. I also have over 300 fitness dvds at home and used them a lot.

My least used, make it never-used, piece of equipment is my spinning bike. I used to spin at the gym and loved it! However, I found that spinning at home without the group support is just boring and not motivating. So, my spinning bike just sits there.

I have an elliptical machine. It was the only thing I used at the gym so I figured why pay them to use their's when I could by my own!! I LOVE IT! I also have tons of exercise dvds, hand weights, an exercise ball (I have yet to inflate! :blushing: ), kettlebell (I have yet to try :blushing: ) My elliptical is my favorite though! OH! Our Wii!! I have Zumba on it and enjoy doing the sports ones with the family.

I used to have a treadmill, a bike, hand weights, and some other stuff and I sold it all. I'm a gym rat and my home equipment never saw anything but dust.

I have forgot to do my own :embarassed:

I have hand weights, a jump rope, a pro ab trainer, 3 (soon to be 4 when 30DS arrives, can't wait) exercise dvd's and Wii Fit plus.

My favourites are probably the exercise dvd's as I need somebody to tell me what to do as I am rubbish at making up my own routine.

My least favourite is probably the jump rope as I find it so exhausting in such a short space of time.

Thanks for the replies, enjoying reading them

Just a pair of dumbbells and a stationary bike. Joining the gym and moving onto barbells next week however.

    Great topic..

I don't have any fancy equipment..I just have 2 sets of handweights; a platform stepper; a jumprope and a coupld resistance bands. I have EA Active 2 for the PS3; and I use youtube and exercise tv on demand for most of the things I do at home.

Have a commercial quality gym in my garage but mostly use barbells, PowerBlock dumbbells, a pullup bar, pushups stands, weighted vests (20lb & 60lb), weight benches, a dipping bar and a treadmill for 60 minute walks.
  • I have a Stationary bike also Elliptical Trainer and love them

I live in a first floor one-and-a-half bedroom flat, so though I've had dvd's in the past there's always the worry that downstairs's ceiling might suffer and space is really limited. I've got a flex band draped over the arm of the sofa but other than that I'm trying to make sure I go to the gym three times a week - still working on making it a habit though...
