I'm usually around 2000mg sodium per day yet today I hit 6000 thanks to eating out. How detrimental will this be? Do people experience greater bloat/water weight with such a high amount?

Sodium doesn't cause you to gain fat, just retain water. The scale will probably go up in a day or two but should come back down relatively quickly. Just drink A LOT of water to flush it out!1

I pulled in 9000 grams the other night, after I switched to bulk mode without changing the types of food I was eating. Other than the raging headache I had before bed, no after effects. I'd rather not have that three hour headache again though, so I recalibrated what I'm eating.0

yeah I've drank more than normal tonight after eating it, I d didn't realise how high in sodium it was until I entered it on MFP and saw it as 4500mg0
