A Death in the MFP family
The wife of one of my MFP friends passed away this week. Her funeral is tomorrow afternoon.
If you are on speaking terms with a Diety, please say a prayer for Jim to be granted the emotional strength to get through this stressful time.
Thank you.

Thank you for telling us. I don't know him, but I have lost one spouse, and so has my husband. We all know it is a hard, hard thing.
Do they have children? Grown or little?
Can you tell us just a bit about them?0 -

He is 55; she was 57. Second marriage for both; no children from THIS union, but both had grown children from prior unions.
He is a piping flexibility analyst; she was a nurse.
Jim had a serious motorcycle accident a couple of years ago and miraculously survived. His wife took early retirement to care for him during his recovery from multiple surgeries. He still has more on the horizon, including knee replacement.
Meanwhile, her mom is on the downhill side of Alzheimers, so she was caring for both of them. Now, neither has a caregiver.
Tough situation.
Thanks to you and others for your interest and concern.
