41 Pounds Gone... 1 Husband Gained!

On 11th August 2016, I married my best friend.
209 days since my journey began and I have lost 41 pounds to date, two dress sizes (three in some places), going from a UK 14 to a UK 8/10.
I have never been happier, healthier or fitter and can finally claim I am at a healthy BMI for once in my adult life of 23 years. I am not exactly where I want to be yet, but I am closer than ever before.
I am 5'3 and started at 178. Currently floating at 136.3, with a revised aim to get to 130. I've gone from a sedentary, grazing fiend to a gym loving, active individual who last year would have laughed out loud at the prospect of going to the gym upwards of six days a week, for up to 2 hours a time! I've tried to lose weight on multiple occasions, but this time I succeeded and will continue to do so! Not just for my own desires, but to ensure that i am fit and healthy to embark upon my new married life
Anyway, on to pictures! The dress fittings one are a repost, but unfortunately they are the best comparative pictures I have as I didn't take progress pictures.
Me close to my highest in Nov 2015 - Excuse the grump face!)
December 2015 (month before the journey):
May 2016 - My first 10k obstacle course!
Final dress fitting - July 2016
Hen do weekend - End of July 2016
Pre-wedding Family Fun - August 2016
The big day! 11th August 2016

Thank you everyone! It went by in such a flash but I enjoyed every second.
My wedding may have spurred on my journey, but it will continue indefinitely as it is a lifestyle change, not a short term solution!0 -

I'm so happy to read that you're not going back to old ways. So many people get slim for special events, and then go right back to square one. Congratulations on all of your success!!0 -
