When Should I Measure?

I just finished Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and I was wondering if it's okay to measure right after the workout or if I should wait a while. Is there any rules to measuring?

    Pick 1 day a week, do it first thing in the moring after going to the bathroom. You'll get the most consistent, accurate readings.

    However... this only works if you wake at the same time every day. You would be thinner/lighter by noon if you haven't eaten yet than you would be at 7am before eating/drinking, post-morning bathroom visit. Be consistent at the hour of the day too!
