So I don't know if anyone has posted anything thyroid weight related, but I have Hashimoto's Disease. Just wondering if I'm the only one with this issue?

I'm hypothyroid too, but it's not Hashimoto's. My TSH looks normal, but my antibodies are way up and T4 is next to nil. It took me forever to find someone who'd do the full panel and find the problem. Tl;dr, you're not the only one.1

MFP has a group called hypothyroid you can join and read about MANY with Thyroid problems and successes. You are not alone!!!!!2

Or, if you do a search in the forums, you'll find many, many posts on the subject. Lots of us are hypothyroid, some from Hashimoto's, some from other reasons. Some think it hinders weight loss, some don't.
I'm hypothyroid, non-Hashi's, didn't find that it hindered weight loss.2 -
Hashimotos can make it extremely hard to lose weight, I work for an Endocrinology specialist. My aunt was also diagnosed with Hashimotos about 10 years ago, but when she was in her early 30's miscarried 6 times...the doctors now told her that was probably due to underlying Hashimotos.1

It has definitely been rough! Supposedly I'm on the correct meds but I sure don't feel like it!

Hypo/Hashi's here.. I can say that doing this all previously, I lost almost 30lbs just by calories and weight lifting the trick is to make sure your meds are working and keeping everything in check.. I take an extremely high dose which is the only thing to keep my levels normal.0

What's considered a high dose? I'm currently on 100mcg and I'm not sure I'm feeling anything, but the doctors swear my levels are normal. Guess I just have to keep pushing forward!0 -

I meant it.. Extremely high dosage LOL but it is the only thing that worked for me and my docs know that I want to keep my my TSH around .5-.8 because that is where I feel best.

I'm just listening to an online lecture about hormones and the speaker talked a lot about hypothyroidism. One thing she said was that if the medications brings down your TSH and your T4 levels are correct but you don't feel any better then get your T3 levels checked. Because sometimes this is a problem when the symptoms persist.3

I'm also Hashi/Hypothyroid. I was diagnosed at 10 and put in levothyroxine but my symptoms never went away even though my TSH always came back normal. I just started seeing a specialist who put me on a T3 medication as well as levothyroxine (T4 med). She's also repairing my adrenals, metabolism, and hormones.0
