Exercises with broken pinky toe

I just broke my pinky toe. It went at a 90 degree angle away from my foot so it is taped to the toe next to it. I can walk on it, but would would rather not use that as my main exercise while it is healing. I don't have a gym membership, would this be a good time to start one and try weights or some other upper body workout? I have tiny 5 lb ones for jogging but not sure if they would do much sitting down.

Weightlifting assuming supporting yourself doesn't hurt and you're not in a boot or whatever, rest is good too.1

any machine you are seated should work. I broke a middle toe several months ago and had to use things like bike, swimming and weight lighting machines where i didn't have to support my weight1

Man I broke my pinky toe a few years ago and it's never been the same. It's twice the size of the other one and now has a giant permanent callus from my shoes. Hope you heal well! Stay off it as much as you can!1
