OP from your post I think you understand that nothing you buy in a fitness tracker whether it is fitbit, garmin, etc.. is going to be 100% accurate. There are varying functionalities each tracker has like the flex does not have a display or function that allows you to use this as a watch per se, but the charge, alta, etc do and will you find the need to use an HR on the wrist or strap at any point? Might be something to consider and if so, does this fit in your budget/price range?
I like these handy gadgets (I moved from fitbit to garmin) but just keep in mind what @TavistockToad about how to use this or any device of this nature to use for trending weight loss, etc..1 -
