30lbs down.. not seeing a difference (pics)

Im feeling discouraged... i just hit 33lbs down this morning and i am honestly not seeing a difference... not sure if i really belong in "success stories"

maybe im crazy..

    You can definitely see the difference in your tummy. My tummy is just like yours. I plan to lose 69 pounds. I'm 5'3 and 204. I bet you would see a difference in inches. Keep up the good work and don't give up!

    im 5'3.5 My heaviest was 220. My "before" is 198 and my "after" this morning at 165. After kids i just feel like my mid section will never look good >.< !!!

    I see a difference in the little bit of neck area we can see. When compared to the before pic, your neck area seems to be reduced as well. Don't be discouraged. Progress is happening!

    Big time difference are you kidding me. You're being too hard on yourself. You are doing GREAT..... Keep up the good work. And I do agree that after having kids the mid section never the same. But you are slimming down honestly.

    Thank you. i have always had issues with my body image so that probably is not helping. Hoping my mind can catch up with my body !!

    Look at your face, huge difference!! If you can't see that I give up:).

    You actually look like you've lost all over as well. Don't be so critical of yourself you are looking good!

    I see the difference. Believe me I understand, I lost 40lbs since last June and haven't even dropped a pant size, it's very discouraging, but we just gotta keep walking this long dusty road until we see that finish line. Don't give up, you're doing great!

    I'm right there with both of you . . I started at 208 and I've lost 25 pounds to 183 this morning and my progress looks exactly like yours at the top of the thread, I felt the same way. My stomach does not seem to be shrinking at all. But I know I must be doing an overall body shrinking because my size 16W pants are all falling off!

    It took me awhile before I starting to see any difference as well. But when my clothes started to get too big for me that's when I realized I was doing something right. Trust me when I say you'll get there too. It takes time and patience. Don't give up hope. You can do this. :)

    Honestly... thank you everyone !! I will definitely not give up !! my goal is about 130 and i WILL get there.. giving myself a lot of time as well as i want to be there before next December when we go on our next family trip to Disneyland !!

    You see yourself everyday and the gradual changes aren't drastic enough for you to notice. But there is a difference.

    Did you take measurements before you started? If not, do so now. Waist, thight, chest, neck. What you may not see in the mirror will reveal itself on a tape measure.

    You are doing wonderfully! Listen.. you are losing and I can tell you are smaller. You are just the same shape and smaller. That is what you are discouraged about. I totally understand and many of us have been there. You are losing all over instead of just one place. Keep on track …as you lose more you'll start to get the shape you want.
    It is the injustice of weightless and hard work.. you can't choose where you lose it first. You can do it! :)

    You definitely look like you've lost. You can't compare those pics, one is a distance, one is closer up. The most important part is do you feel better? Don't give up because of a silly mirror!!!

    there is a huge difference, keep those gloves on kiddo, cause every day is a step closer to your goal.... Only last night when I was working out, I thought to myself..."Im never gonna get under 100kg" But then I told myself that I started this journey at 116.9 kg and now I'm 112.9 thats alot closer to 100kg than before! LOL So I decided to keep going and just not quit, cause one day Im gonna wake up and see 99kg =)

    My tummy and upper tummy area is alot like yours...but worse!!

    Patience really is a virtue =)

    There really is a difference, really and truly. Look at the top of your arms and again below the elbow. You've lost several inches there. You've lost some from your face just on the bit we can see from your ear across to your mouth and your stomach is smaller. If you can't tell from the way that your clothes fit would you be able to trust the tape measure? My rear looks just the same size to me but the tape measure says that my hips are 3" smaller and I have two pairs of underpants that fall down.

    I also have the baby pouch belly, I stopped wearing a bikini decades ago so it doesn't bother me too much.

    I can barely see your face but I can tell by your jaw line that you've lost a lot in your face. You're slimming down all over so you're not seeing the whole picture. You're probably focusing on your tummy. You're looking good. Keep up the good work. :)

    Are you taking measurements? If not, I'd suggest starting to track bust, waist & hips at least. Measure once a month or so.

    Exercise. As a guy I've lost the same amount of weight and it's night and day (at least that's what they tell me) because while the fat is dropping muscles are coming up.
