help?!

I went to a small conference / meeting this morning. At lunch they had a buffet with various types of food.

I had a small plate and made sure i picked salad, etc but I have no idea where to start when it comes to tracking the calories?

What to do?

I had a cheese and chutney (branston pickle?) wrap (small)
Bacon and chicken salad (very small amount)
fruit - a couple of strawberries, a handful of grapes and a couple of slices of kiwi

I didn't choose a lot as I knew that I had no idea what i was eating and I was still hungry when I left shortly after but i know i need to track it somehow

any thoughts?

hat i usually do is break down the food or find something as close to possible then aim high. If ive eaten about a cup of something im not sure what it is then ill put it in as 1.25 cups. Fruit is actually very easy, look it up individually and add it. I do know strawberries are actually pretty low in calories have never check kiwi. You could also go to recipes and add the info in there and itll add up in the database.

    p.s: Awesome picture btw

I would go into the "my recipes" and try to estimate the contents of each item. It's time consuming, but that's what I did with my premade fruit salad this morning. Think about each item individually and break down the ingredients. When I buy a premade item that I can't figure out the contents I usually look at a bunch of the ones in the data base and pick one that is middle of the road (unless it's dessert, then I pick the one with the highest calorie count).

I add it individually. It's the only way to account for it. It may be a small amount of this and that, but collectively it adds up.
