Back in May when I would lean over to put my socks on it was a huge stretch because layers of gut would get in the way lol I was 211, which is heavy for my frame of 5'8. So anyways that day I said nope, and made it my goal to start eating healthier and getting back into shape. I always work out but my diet was poor. I'm happy to say mid August now and I'm 190 and feeling really good. I cut out late night snacks and eat healthier 6 days of the week. I still binge on the 7th, but this seems to be working. Just looking to connect with others that share the same love for health and fitness, to talk and stay motivated with :) so I guess this is it for now. I'll post more random stuff in the weeks to come.

lol I don't know how much I love fitness, but I am learning to and trying to work out on a regular basis. I was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic and figured I have to make some lifestyle changes in order to turn things around. Congratulations on your weight loss and keep up the good work!!!

Hey awesome! A reply! Lol I appreciate the comment :) as far as I'm concerned we can all make changes in our lives to become better people. You like myself are here for a reason, and I truly hope you reach your goals too :) thank you so much for replying, that made my morning :)

Thanks for sharing your story. Before I started eating healthy and exercising I would have to literally hold my breath leaning over to tie my shoes (really I would tie them as fast as I could before my breath ran out). Although you are further along than I am, your experience will help keep me motivated as I can see that I'm not alone.

My drastic drop in weight, blood pressure, pulse rate and nearly everything else should be enough in itself but strangely enough it isn't.

Stay motivated as a guide for the rest of us! Good luck and keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing :) even slow improvement is improvement, no one gets there over night right? You are doing awesome! Just stick with it my friend, and know that you are helping others just by telling your experience.
