Baby weight sucks. I have been dieting and exercising but my weight loss has slowed down- I actually gained 1.6 lbs back! I lost .6 of it but I am starting to feel dicouraged It is hard when I work with my husband and father who are both eating donuts around me, but I haven't given in yet. I am trying to get them to eat healthier with me. We'll see how that goes.

You can do it! My friends and fiance all heat horribly too...and it is hard to eat right around them! But when I do I feel very proud! You can do it!0

I found that when I was losing the baby weight the first time around that for about 1 month and a half I went up and down in weight by a couple of pounds. Then it just started working for me again. Did the first part of you weight come off easy?
I know how you feel with the men and the donuts . I fight a ongoing battle with my husband. He has agreed to eat better as a family but when the kids go to bed at night he breaks out the junk food. His favourites are Ice cream, Crunchits and Corn Chips.... Normally I can ignore it but I find if it has been a gym day I have to leave the room and than I sometimes feel like I can smell any way..... Crazy!0 -
If you're breastfeeding, your weight can fluctuate a LOT day to day...especially in the beginning. Plus, all the hormones pushing through your body still can cause a lot of water retention. *hugs* It'll get better. Just don't give up! Can you keep healthy snacks around while the men are eating the nasty, calorie & fat filled donuts? :flowerforyou:0

pack up some healthy snacks and bring them with you. My fiance used to eat horribly- chips, cookies, candy ALL THE TIME. But I've pretty much converted him. He eats what I buy, he eats what he sees. Try bringing a fruit platter to work, or some homemade bran muffins. I guarantee they'll eat it. If I'm really hungry and all we have is donuts, I'll eat them. If I'm really hungry and all we have is fruit, bring it on. you see my point?
As for the losses, I agree with the fluctuations, your body fluctuates on a daily basis, hourly sometimes, so I can't even imagine how it must change while breastfeeding! :flowerforyou: Stick with it and you will see results.0
