Temptation and Ideas

Hey guys,
I've been naturally thin my whole life but have finally decided that I want to gain. I've been gaining for the past few days and the temptation to weigh myself everyday to see how I'm doing is so tempting. I'm getting tired of eating the same things everyday, any new suggestions would be great!

    If youre just trying to gain weight in general I don't see the issue with eating the same thing everyday. Eat whatever you want. If youre trying to gain muscle that's a different story.

    I just get a bit bored eating the same kind of things. I don't find it hard to get the extra calories in because I'm also drinking shakes but find it really difficult to keep my sugar intake down.

    Gaining shouldn't be this taxing on you. Try to make it easier by incorporating a variety of foods you enjoy. In the end, you wont be able to stick with it if you dont enjoy things. The below thread can give you ideas.

    Also, if you dont have a medical isaue i am not sure i would track sugar. Its actually a very beneficial nutrient while gaining weight.

    OP - are you trying to gain weight due to an eating disorder or just because you want to put on some weight? Your commend about not wanting to weigh everyday is indicative that you may be in recovery. If you are, then I would suggest discussing these feelings with your specialist...
