Love them plain! I also like to grind them up and use them in breading for chicken or as a substitute for breadcrumbs in meatloaf. It gives those foods just a hint of bacon flavoring.

I love them! They're crunchy and salty and YUM. I don't find myself eating a lot at a time, so they make a lovely snack.

I think they have a funny aftertaste. Maybe I need to try another brand.

I do not like this kind that you pick up at the convenience store...

But real chicharrones are a staple of New Mexican cooking and I love them...I prefer mine with Hatch Red Chile...Green is pretty good to though...and usually in a burrito.

These look very much like Pork Scratchings (UK), and I used to eat a boat-load of them without any sauce.

I go to at least 2 parties a year that have them and hog them all.

Does that bring back memories! There used to be this old man who made the rounds at The Downs selling homemade Chicharrón breakfast burritos out of one of those personal sized blue Coleman coolers to the employees and jockeys. So good...

For the longest time I thought they were chorizo burritos because I misheard him when I asked what he was selling. Many years later I learned there's a meaty Chicharrón and a skin Chicharrón and the lightbulb went on.

Did you pull ^ image off a recipe?
