Exercise before or after eating?

I usually exercise in the morning before or after I eat breakfast, and I don't know if one of them is better for weight loss. I've heard people argue both sides. Has anyone had more success from exercising before they eat?

This is definitely a personal choice issue. Some of the posters on MFP exercise on an empty stomach and do better. If I don't eat before I exercise I don't do well at all because I suffer profound fatigue, dizziness and muscle weakness. On a full stomach I can complete a 60 min run + 30 min weight training.
Try it both ways and see which way works best for you.1 -

I have to eat at least a little something before, otherwise I have zero energy, and usually flake out too early; that said, I almost always need a little something after as well, as I'm starving when I'm done!1

After, I really need some food to have enough energy to exercise.1

When I happen to exercise in the morning, I at least try to have a banana, yogurt, or anything easy to eat beforehand. I feel pretty faint when I try and do any kind of lifting on an empty stomach. If I eat an actual meal, I wait 30 minutes so I don't accidentally throw up everywhere.2
