60 lbs Ago –(w/Progress Pics)

This past fall we dropped my oldest daughter off at college and posed for pictures in her dorm room. I just about died when I saw the pics posted on Facebook. How the Hell did I get this gut and man-boobs?

My discomfort with my physical appearance along with my struggles with cholesterol and high blood pressure were the final straw and and jumped into action.

I joined MFP on March 21, 2010, and today I celebrate the newer, 60lb trimmer me.

I know it's not as drastic a transformation as others, but may it inspire others none-the-less!

    use the IMG code and when you paste them make the IMG lower case

    That's awesome man. It's great to see more male before and after pictures here. So many of us are overweight...and it's such a simple thing (compared to women who have a much tougher fight!) with all our inherent, genetic ability to build/maintain muscle mass to change it.

    Seeing pictures of others success in the short term is awesome for spurring others on to do the same.

    So congratulations...you did a great job!

    You guys BOTH look great! I think it's good to have more guy before/after photos, too -- especially for those of us who are no longer 25 and have the metabolism of a snail! :)

    And I appreciate the fact that you understand that we women have it a little tougher :} Darn those HORMONES. :)
