My diet is low on fiber. Looking for food suggestions - not supplements or any pill you swallow or drink.

It's not really a supplement, but I add a spoonful of unflavored Metamucil to my morning protein shake. Look for whole grain products. Apples are always good.1

I buy Kellogg's All Bran Buds and stir a handful into my yogurt. It is actually really good. It gives it a good crunch, makes the yogurt more filling and and adds a lot of fiber. 1/3 of a cup adds 13 grams of fiber although I don't use that much in my yogurt. I also buy Fiber One Oat and Chocolate bars. They are delicious and a very satisfying snack. Each bar has 9 grams of fiber. My Sam's Club sells them in larger boxes and at a better price than the local grocery stores.0

I'm eating more fruits and veggies with the skins on, added chia seeds to my yogurt, and if it's pretty low and I've got the calories/sodium to spare, I'll eat a Fibre 1 bar (mine have 7 grams of fibre).0

I get between 30g-40g a day in my diet, you can check out my diary to see the fibre sources if you like, it's open.0

Take a look at your diet and wherever possible, replace foods without fiber with those that do. Culprits include white flour, pulp free juices, and processed foods. Possible sources include:
All the whole grains
All the vegetables
All the fruits (not as juice)
Fruits and vegetables can make up half your plate.0 -
Beans. It's pretty much the perfect food. Decent amount of both carbs and protein and high in fibre. I prefer the black eyed bean variety.0

Chia seeds or wheat germ are good for hiding in other foods/recipes.0
