Stuck...

I don't know what's going on, but I'm feeling stuck this week. Nonthing's budging... not the scale, not the tape measure. I'm busting my butt 6 days a week, burning 200+ cals per workout, staying within my food calories each day, eating my exercise calories and drinking my 8 cups of water. It just doesn't seem to be working, and I don't get it! I've lost one inch on my waist and a half inch in other places, but that's it. I've been at this for 3 weeks now and I think I'd see a little more results.

Dont give up. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. If you are working out that hard you are most likely building muscle. You are on the right track and you are an inspiration!0

You don't have that much to lose so this will take some time. Plus, I found I had to actually increase my cals a bit to start losing again.
Just a thought ...0 -
I'm curious as well... My BMR says 1296. I'm eating 1200 cals a day plus the exercise cals... does that seem right? I get really confused when everyone starts talking about the BMR and setting the right cals and stuff.0

Man, I know how it feels to be stuck. All I can do is offer you encouragement to keep doing what you're doing and it will DEFINITELY pay off in the end. Don't give up! You're breakthrough is not far away I just know it.:flowerforyou:0

sometimes I add like 200-300 extra cals to my diet for 2-3 days, then go back to what I was doing, it shocks your body, and may help:happy:0

Don't give up or get discouraged!!! It is normal to plateu a little bit. Your body is adjusting to its new routine of getting healthy. I think that although it may be slow process, you are doing it the right way, the healthy way and it takes a little more time! Keep up the good work! You can do it!!0

3 weeks and 3 pds loss is good, when you don't have alot to lose it comes off slower.I have been at this since Nov, I have only lost 9 pds, but the difference in the way my clothes fit,(I have dropped 2 pants sizes )tell me I'm doing good! So don't get discouraged, keep on keeping on, you will see some results! good luck!:flowerforyou:0

Losing one inch off your waist in three weeks is HUGE. Be proud. The scale lies. Your body weight can fluctuate up to 4-8 pounds a day. A few days ago I weighed myself in the morning and then had an assessment that night and had gained 7 pounds. Sometimes it just takes a while for your body to catch up with your new better habits.0
