When you're hungry, drink water, and drink a full glass of water before meals.
Whenever I first start on a diet, I expect to be hungry a lot for a MINIMUM of a week. Gotta give your body time to adjust.
But seriously, water water water.4 -
I find that drinking cold water is helpful. Sounds stupid? Cold water burns more calories that warm.2

YES!!! I reworked my calories again and went for a pound a week instead of 1.5 and then once I do some exercise to eat more if I need it I feel like this way of life is manageable. I figured it might take me a bit longer to lose but we have to live in the process and as the busy cook for a family of 5 and a job I am hungry all the time!!! We can do this! I need to lose 50 pounds and the longer I put it off the longer I am miserable!!!!1

Play around with your calories a little - up them a bit if you're finding yourself getting really really hungry. Listen to your body try having a higher protein breakfast as it'll keep you fuller for longer and keep hydrated!1

Yes Marie it has been a long long week..I hate being hungry and it doesn't help the mood factor. I think Im with you on playing with the calorie intake for satiety however today seemed a little easier..as one posted the first week was hard so true. Thanks for the input everyone! One mistake I made today was 1 cup of kashi cereal and 1 cup of milk for breakfast literally one hour later I was starved as if I had nothing to eat..I did add more for lunch and been smooth sailing the rest of the day.0
