Love Disney but there's to many to choose from for a favourite x0

I love everything Disney. Aladdin is my favorite movie and favorite leading man. Mulan is my favorite lady. She gets things done and doesn't need to be rescued by a man.0

I'm a huge Disney fan!
Mulan is my favourite movie
Mulan is also my favourite female but technically she's not a princess so I'll go with Merida!
Favourite male is Flynn
Favourite song is probably Reflection0 -

Dishonor on you, Dishonor on your family, Dishonor on your cow!

I am probably going to get some hate here... They have some entertaining, good movies but I think a lot of the plots are the same. They set little girls up to have unrealistic expectations of how they should look. I mean the princesses are always done way up, have perfect, hair, make up and bodies with tiny waists. Most of the princesses are waited on hand and foot. Not expected to do anything for themselves. And they teach girls that all relationships are rainbows and unicorns. Nothing seriously bad happens. They insinuate that you can fall in love in 2 minutes. That a prince always comes in to save you and then live happily ever after. That is rarely ever real. Just my thoughts...0

Fave movie? The Sound of Music
Fave princess? Merida
Fave prince / male? Eugene Fitzherbert
Fave song? Colors of the Wind
I don't mind that Disney is unrealistic, it's not supposed to be real, it's fantasy...I do wish I could get my hair to behave better and wild animals to do my housework, that would be so awesome!!!0 -

LOL do they have on point hair for sure! I totally get it is suppose to be fantasy but it so hard to see your 7 year old girl talk about how fat she is (which she isn't, she is perfectly in normal range ) and sad that she doesn't look like Elsa. Kids are harder on themselves these days than we were, I truly believe. In my opinion and again just my opinion.. society and Disney movies have given them a huge misinterpretation of normal a self image. Of course, I explain this to her and we as adults understand it is fantasy but lots of children don't completely grasp that concept.0 -

No. Disney is evil. But then again I like to claim that I'm evil, so yes?.0

Wasn't Walt Disney an anti-Semite?0

I recently added dancing around the kitchen to the little mermaid soundtrack as a new excercise. I'm still trying to get my daughter to appreciate all the older movies but it may be a lost cause.1

I have a 3 year old daughter. Disney is unavoidable! But the Original Winnie the Pooh is a lifelong favorite!0

Leia
Han Solo
John Williams - Main Title and the Attack on the Jakku Village

Thank you for this post!! I LOVE anything Disney! In fact I am going to Disney World again in a couple weeks! I even have some beautiful Disney paintings in my room! Anyways... to answer your question:
Movie: Lion King (Lilo and Stitch is a close second)
Princess: Ana from Frozen
Prince: Aladdin or Kristoff (love is sarcastic humour lol)
Song: It honestly changes like everyday. We Are One (Lion King), A Whole New World (Aladdin), Part of Your World (Little Mermaid), or Let It Go
Also, my favourite Disney musical is Lion King! Saw it twice... it was my second broadway musical I saw at the age of 7!0 -
