I am the proud 1st time owner of a heart rate monitor and since yesterday I can honestly say my hubby chose the perfect 1 for me. I have a Polar F6 with wearlink (chest strap) and I have just found that I can use my strap to send data to a FREE Android application called Cardiotrainer. I used this a lot last year when I first started getting fit so I think the app is pretty good. Can't wait to try it tomorrow. Anyboody else tried using the wearlink with a phone app before?

I tried, but I can't get it to pick up the signal from the band? I'm not sure what's up. But it's cool cause I like to log my exercise calories right onto MFP anyway...0

I have that cardio trainer app too, but I don't think my HRM links up to it, since I just have the FT4. No biggie tho, but it'd be pretty sweet if it did.0

I just tried to link. Maybe our wearlinks are not bluetooth. Oh well, excitement over...
