Yesterday I had outer body experience, ate all this crap I wasn't suppose to. Micky D, Royal Farms Chix, felt like I lost the battle to maintain a healthy lifestyle again. Some days I can be a poster child for someone who is dedicated to getting my ish together, and other days I feel like, it's hopeless. Today I start fresh I'm going to drink a lot of water, eat tons of greens, ride bike and conquer the world. Wish me luck, pray, meditate or just throw pos energy my way.

Why weren't you supposed to eat it? You can eat any thing you like.

I keep 500-600 calories back over the week so that I can enjoy my weekends the way I want to. That is real life and sustainable to me.

You have a great attitude! Those days will happen sometimes and weaker people would be derailed. Good job getting back to it today!

It sounds like you are using "healthy lifestyle" as a punishment for doing things you like. Stop doing that. Stop naming food you like "crap". Stop thinking you aren't "supposed to" do this or that. Instead, find out what you want to achieve, and what you need to do to achieve that, while still living a life you enjoy.

I see this is your first post, so you're probably still getting your groove, yes? I suggest taking a bit of time to cruise the message boards here, you will learn SO much about becoming healthier, while still eating WHAT you want! Once you get a food scale, put your data into MFP...decide if you are sedentary or lightly active etc, and how much you are trying to lose. Then, start keeping track of all your nibbles and bites, including beverages, weigh everything, believe me, the numbers will be eye opening...after a week or two, you will start to see where your issues are, if there are any at all. Stick to the calorie goal as best as you can, keep moving your butt, and you will start to see results!
