Just wondering why there cals burned are not showing when doing weights. Also, why FP cannot synch with my fitbit blaze? Any input is greatly appreciated

Lifting weights doesn't really burn all that many calories (which annoys me, don't get me wrong). You can get around that if you enter it as cardio though. Just be careful and make sure you're losing if you do eat those calories back.

Check out the FitBit group for your model......

MFP has been having syncing issues of late. If you are logging strength training manually, use the cardiovascular section for calorie burn estimates.

look into the cardiovascular portion search and put in "strength training", REMEMBER: you can't necessarily rely on the number that it gives you. you maybe burning more/less depending on your intensity.

MyFitnessPal does sync with the FitBit lineup. From the main-page on the web site click on Apps then search Fitbit and link them.

And MFP will count calories burned for Strength Training, under the Cardio side. But as mentioned it's not as much as you think. Yesterday I only burned about 330 calories with a 55min weight training session.
