Whats the best treatment for shin splints other than rest?

Ice your shins and take an anti-inflammatory.0

I bought new running shoes and that helped a lot.0

I use sweet sweat which warms up your muscles you apply it to. It has worked well for me on my bike rides, normally halfway through I get sore but when I'm using sweet sweat...I don't! Also suggest looking up some stretches that you can do beforehand to help.

More rest. Icing helps, wrapping them can help but nothing beats rest. And then when you start up again avoiding the problem that caused them in the first place. Do you know what that is yet?0

Not at all. I just bought it from Groupon a month or two ago and noticed that my muscles are less sore when I use the gel then when I don't. Thanks for checking tho!0 -
When i started running i thought my shins were going to crack in half! I bought some of those compression shin socks and it helped a lot0
