    Me 2.

One day I will be lucky enough to work daytime hours, but it seems in this department you have to be old and senile before you get that priviledge.

And I'm still up...pathetically *****footing schoolwork and my bed. I suck.

LOL! Mfp edited an actual term because the first part is typically used lewdly. Shame on Mfp for not knowing the old-school slang!

I'm up mostly because I feel too lazy to go to bed. And yes, I do this often. Some of you are smart enough to get PAID for being up! It's not quite 1:00 am here, so this really isn't too bad. I'm a night owl.

I guess most departments are the same. I'm getting close to daytime shift. I'm close to being one of the old guys. (43) They have to put me on days sooner or later.

Well, I have a long way to go. Our first shift officers here all have badge numbers under 2000, typically under 1800. Mine? 4356. :noway:

Although I am getting married soon, so hopefully I will get pregnant in a year or 2...and then at least I can have 9 months on light duty which is 9-5 Mon-Fri here.

Or how about the alarm that goes off in the rain and homeowner hears "noises" and thinks someone is breaking in when really they heard the wind or the thunder from the same storm than made the alarm go off?

I hate storms when I am working because all I do is answer alarm calls all night!

i liked the ones to where the kids scream and teh glassbreak alarms go off. People dont realize that are just set to go off when they hear a frequency. so either the kid screams..husband hit the rail with the belt buckle, stubbed a toe and it hurt... girlfriend screamed...yeah heard all of those!!l lol

I love watching the men use Shake Weights...done correctly, it's either kinky, or just funny as hell!
