What do YOU consider "exercise"?

It depends. I use a fitbit, so I only add exercise if I do something that won't translate well, like Bouldering or biking. However, what having a fitbit reminds me is that exercise is like food. Whether or not you log it, your body counts it. So, whether you consider housework exercise or daily activity, your body burns calories from it. So, decide how you want to track it, then see if your numbers work right and either increase or decrease calorie goals based on the data.1

None of this. I am on my feet all day already working, walking the dog etc. A workout for me is when I burn about 300 cal in 30 min with either running or some extreme activity.0

Anything I wasn't planning on doing, that also doesn't necessarily contribute to an improvement in any metric.
For example, a 30 minute walk would be exercise, but 30 minutes of HIIT would be training.0 -
Personally I don't consider walking exercise unless I'm walking up hills/hiking. I consider it exercise when my heart rate rises past 120 bpm.0

30min walk? Sure - but it doesn't burn much
Dog walking? Yep - we generally try to walk 2-3 miles at a time
House cleaning? Noooooo.

If you have modest goals, dog walking and house cleaning are fine training sessions.
Some of us desire to reach our best, so we need more challenging exercises.
Only you can decide just how high you want to rise and how hard you're willing to work to get there.
one person's modest is another persons best, we could all relativize ourselves to olympians and perhaps many of us would feel a bit lame if we did. I'm sure there are some awesome folks out there reaching their best while walking the dog.5 -
60-90 minutes of strength and hypertrophy training. 2-3 min rests between power lifts. 60-90s between higher rep hypertrophy based lifts. If I don't have sweat running down my face I feel like I could be going with more intensity0

If I don't have to wear a sports bra, it's not exercise.
To me anyway. I do go for walks at lunch, sometimes I log, most of the time I don't.0 -
What do I consider "exercise"?
Depends on why you're asking.
If it's about whether I log it in MFP, I at least consider logging any activity that isn't part of the daily routine assumed in my MFP 'activity level' setting, and that goes on long/hard enough to burn calories that are significant at my then-current eating level. It doesn't really matter what the activity itself is.
If it's about exercise for fitness, then I'd count things that keep me at my current level of fitness (maintaining the base), and push me beyond my current fitness level.
If it's about bragging rights, then I'd only count stuff that sounds, like, really wildly super-impressive to whomever I happen to be talking with at the moment, which is very audience-specific.0 -

I teach a, "mommy and me dance class," and I've been told by some moms who take it that they consider it their workout for the day.
I am always moving and getting my heart rate up while teaching for a half hour, but I would NEVER consider it a workout.0
