Friday Mini Challenge

Today's challenge is: Push-ups
Let's see if we can do 150 of them.
You can do them any style and you have until midnight to get them done.
You can do them all at once or break them into smaller groups.
If you can't do them all then do what you can. The important thing is that you try to do them.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.
You can log these challenges as "Calisthenics" I hear.

Just for the crack I thought I'd give this a go.. (I haven't started making a real effort to exercise yet)
I did them on my knees and managed 10, but damn do my shoulders feel pumped already.. lol

I did some bench presses in the park and my upper arms are now killing me! I also did 3 x 30 reps of bench squats and I am finding it very difficult to walk down the stairs now. It's all good stuff though, that's what I keep telling myself.0

I'm am so in, even though my arms feel a bit like jelly. To para-quote Scarlett O'Hara, "With God as my witness, I will finish" even if the last few are done from my knees. Keep up the good job of motivating us.0

Oh, excited! I love push ups! I'll do them tonight as soon as I get home from work. Don't remember the last time I tried a one arm pushup!0

150 DONE! Half from the toes, half from the knees.
I created an EA Active Sports custom workout with 10 sets of 15, alternating with other exercises, and alternating between manly pushups and girlie pushups. And... OMFG... after 150 pushups, my little 5# dumbells felt HEEEEEEEEEEEEEAVY! I could barely do my lateral raises and overhead triceps extensions!
I think my wrists, in particular, are going to hate me tomorrow.
(Edit because they're 5# dumbells, not 58# dumbells.)0 -

Did the girly push ups though as I just cant do the proper ones my arms aren't strong enough to lift my body
So, 3 sets of 50 on my knees, legs in the air crossed (if that makes sense)

I got all mine done at work using my desk! I am so proud of myself even pushed a few co-workers to do them!0

I got up to 110 push-ups over the course of the day. My co-workers think I'm insane, but they're supportive. After 110 I hit the wall (literally). I did the last 40 push-ups by doing wall push-ups.0

i got 120 done! But the important thing is that I did 120 girly push-ups!!! I have now "upgraded" from the wall to the floor--Whoo hoo!!! :bigsmile:0

Well, I forgot about them until I was in bed and had 30 minutes to midnight. Got them out on toes two hands. Set of 50, then 4 sets of 25. My chest and shoulders are on fi-ya!0

I got 160 inclined ones done. The sunburn I have really makes things hard for me.
Great job yall! Yall are the bestest at motivating each other and yourselves. Also keeps me on my toes trying to be the "better" one since I am the leader. That really inspires me, making sure I can do everything I ask yall to do.0 -
