Hi everyone, Im lou, just started using my fitness pal, Im actually a sport scientist and work fulltime as a pe teacher but have recently been getting lazy and gained a few too many pounds. I plan to run my first half marathon this september so if you could support me whilst I cut down some pounds then that would be awesome!

Ill help anyone else in anyway I can too, and now Im also helping myself get back to what I used to be....wish me luck !

    Good luck and welcome to the fold.

    Please don't take this the wrong way, but It's interesting to read how as a sports scientist and PE teacher, even you get "lazy" (your own words) and have gained a few pounds. From a personal point of view, I also have these periods of lazyness (normally around Christmas when the weather is horrible and the nights have drawn in - making it that bit harder to go for a run/bike etc. Also, there are lots of parties, complete with large portions of food and lots of alcohol. So, maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself and accept that I will slip into this frame of mind from time to time and everything is OK as long as I keep it in check.
