BCAA

I was wondering if BCAA supplements were really needed in my daily supplements. I was taking them only during my workout days for about two months and didn't see any physical difference for me. I do take whey protein daily three times a day so was wondering if that was enough to get my BCAA's.

Nope not needed - is there also a reason why you are having so much whey protein? Convenience? Hard gainer?

If anything....whey would not be ideal for a hard gainer since it's usually the lowest cal^^^. Also the other word for hard gainer is an undereater. Bcaas won't do much as long as you're hitting overall totals, unless you just enjoy the taste like me and they're on sale....I might buy them. They're not a magic supplement but they will do more good than harm

To be able to reach my daily protein goal (160g) and to keep my calorie count down. I have my avg body fat down to 12-16% but my mid section has yet to come through (I have a measurement of 34.5 for my waist) so been slowly taking down my calorie count the last couple months to see if that helps. Went from 2000cal to about 1800cal the past two months but I have not seen my midsection go down. So I might move it down again to1600cal to see if that helps. I'm 32 and have a daily desk job so I feel like it don't burn enough from what I consume. I do workout about a hour with heavy weights 3-4 times a week and two days of cardio but I might need to up that as well since I'm not seeing lean muscle mass coming through. I do want to add that I eat clean about 95% of the time and home cooked meals. This includes chicken or turkey with quinoa and veges and cans of tuna and brown rice. I do not eat any fast food or processed food. No sweets and only sugar intake I get is from fruits which is a apple a day. So kind of baffled on what else needs to be done for my diet wise. My day to day meals really never change.
