Seeking supportive friends!

Hi there, I'm Margaret.

I'm 34 and looking to lose around 80 pounds. My weight has gone down and back up again several times over the years, so my ultimate goal will be to maintain the weightloss once it's gone. That will be the real challenge for me! I'm planning to generally eat healthily and of course stick to the calories needed to lose weight. I also plan to exercise three times a week to start with, which I intend to increase after a month or so.

I work for the NHS in admin so my job is the classic sedentary desk job. I do walk to and from work most days though. My interests include music (listening mainly though I did used to play bass!) and knitting. I used to enjoy baking cakes but I guess that's gonna have to go now! Or maybe be reserved for special occasions.

Anyway, it would be fab to add people for mutual support on our weighloss journies. So please do get in touch if you'd like to :smile:

    Hi Margaret, please feel free to add me. I am a crazy knitter and love music. Also love baking and have learned how to bake for those I love w/o eating any of it -- though it's not easy. I've been on this site since 2104 and have lost 40 pounds. Then apparently regained 10 of it, so the journey continues....Weight loss is a completely attainable goal with a realistic plan that you will stick to. You just have to believe you can do it, believe you are an intelligent person capable of doing whatever the heck you decide you want to do.

    Hi..I'm very similar..I sit down all day..mainly due to being a full time wheelchair user..my job is in a call center so activity level is zero thought out my shifts at work..I love crafts too..mine is cross stitching..so add me for more support if you wish x
