On Tuesday I weighed and was 174. This morning I weighed and was 167. That's seven pounds in four days. Am I losing weight too fast? I heard it was dangerous to lose weight so fast. So...someone please help me!

it may have been water weight that u lost. I wouldn't worry too much about it but if you are worried, talk to a doctor.

if you started just recently drinking more water and exercising more it could be just water weight that you were retaining. As long as that weight lost is not every week, healthy is max 2lbs a week, then you should be ok.

Its normal if its your first week of this lifestyle.. mostly water weight. It'll slow down in the next week or 2.

How much do you have to lose?

    How recently did you start?

The first couple of weeks I lost 5lbs, 8lbs etc because I went from WAAAY over eating to eating only 1400 calories a day and drinking a TON of water, my body dropped weight like crazy. Then it slowed down and over the almost a year mark I have still averaged about 1.5lbs a week.

hi there! it is definitely NOT a good idea to lose that much actual weight that fast... but did you just get started? a lot of times at first you will lose water weight.

are you getting enough cals? it's not good to net under 1200 calories... so if you eat 1600 and workout intensely and burn 500, you would actually "net" 1100.... which is somewhat low... this can cause a lot of weight loss and fast, but isn't ideal in the long run....

If you are just starting to lose weight, don't worry about it as it often happens. It's probably because you are eating less and thus have less food in your system.
