    Stretch after your workout.

Stretch like a cat while still prone in bed. Stretch again sitting on rising and touch your toes on rising. Wherever you have kinks, stretch.

It sounds like you have increased exercise. Drinking water helps me with sore stiffness from increasing workouts, as do baths with epson salts or just a plain hot shower.

Oh, and be sure to warm up/stretch prior to exercise, and warm down/stretch after.

What do I do? I get moving. Slowly, at first, to be sure. But things tend to loosen up the more I use them - provided I don't take breaks for too long.

Do you have sore muscles in legs and back and very stiff from the days previous workout? Are we talking about working out first thing in the morning or is getting out bed to hard to do?

But having stiff sore back sounds off to me as in DOMS or I am confused in what the question is.

I run at 5:30 in the morning except after "leg day" its a walk. I warmup by walking and light jog for 10 minutes and MINOR stretching. If I ain't feeling the run, I do not push it.

Start light/slow and build = very little pain & soreness for me. As I get older I don't start from zero and go all in. I don't want soreness and also don't want any injury.

Yeah I been doing my regular Cadio but also been working in the yard. I seem to be okay now that I got up ans moveing. Plus I have a 8 month old that still don't seel through the night so I'm up and down all night as well. I always try work out in the mornings between 10 and 12.
