Best of luck!! Great to not wait until tomorrow or Monday or beginning of the month. It's always best to start the change right now!0

Instead of telling yourself that tomorrow you will start to lose weight, just commit yourself to logging everything you eat. I would start right now. Log everything you have eaten today and log for the rest of the day. Then tomorrow do the same. You will start to see how many calories you are eating. If you have entered your stats into mfp and come up with a goal then try to stay at the goal mfp sets for you. If you add in some exercise then mfp will give you more calories to eat. Try eating back about 50% of those calories until you are able to tell how accurate they are. Don't give up all the foods you like to eat. Just eat smaller portions of the things you like. Sometimes I find that if I look at the calorie content of something I will decide that I don't really want it after all, but it is important to me to know that if I want it I can have it. If you only have 30 pounds to lose don't set a goal of 2 pounds per week. Just set yourself to lose 1 pound a week, or even .5 pound. You can do this. You just have to take the first step.1

I kept saying Monday I will be better. Then one day I was 50 pounds over weight. I feel as though a switch was flipped in my brain and I didn't look back. I have been eating clean and have had no desire for sugars, processed foods and even artificial sugars. I get my sweetness from natural sugars like fruit and that seems to do it for me. I haven't been logging foods yet but I have been losing. Looking to keep going and have friends have and give motivation0
