I'm a 277lb old fart (61) mildly active (play in a band 3 - 5x a week, hump equipment). I drink two Atkins shakes with fiber added for breakfast and lunch and eat a 1200 - 1400 dinner and late snack. Not losing any weight for two weeks. Driving me crazy lol. I feel good, my shirts feel looser. I take Remeron 45mg which is know to slow the metabolism. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Honestly I'd say lay off the artificial shakes and diet pills. Spread out your calories into smaller meals over the course of the day and make sure to hit your nutritional needs with those meals by eating whole foods rather than out of a package.

Your shirts are looser! Good start! Keep going, weight loss takes time. As long as you know you are in a deficit, you will be fine!

Big tip: get a food scale and weigh all scolds. This will get you good at eyeballing!

    Given your age & inactivity,
1400 is probably more than you need for the whole day just to maintain your current weight.
Yet you're eating that for dinner, plus what's probably at least 800 cal in shakes (please consider eating real food instead!!!),
and surprised you're not losing weight.

Go back to your MFP account setup & tell it you are inactive, which you basically are.

Or try this calculator from the Baylor College of Medicine.
    https://www.bcm.edu/cnrc-apps/healthyeatingcalculator/eatingCal.cfm
It will tell you how many calories you need to maintain any weight (based on age, height, & activity level),
as well as how many servings of the food groups you should be eating.

I told it you were 6' tall, and being inactive it says you'd need 1351 cal to maintain your current weight,
    with a BMI of 37.6.
To get to a healthy BMI (under 24.9) you'd have to be 183lb or less (if you're 6' tall).
