Did you find sugar-free chocolate and 85% chocolate? Regular chocolate will have more carbs.
I did. I found both and they contained a high amount of carbs. Maybe I'm confused about what is high carbs per serving.
I didn't buy the chocolate but the recipe says 1.6g per fat bomb. Hmm.
That sounds reasonable. Most fat bombs have some carbs, which is fine since very few keto'ers are going for zero carbs. I usually make chocolate fat bombs, and I know the vanilla and cococa powder will have carbs too. Not a lot but a small something.
I think I would try to forget about the "Nestle" flavour if you try these. It might be Nestle similar but IDK if pork rinds can truely do Nestle flavour. Let us know how it tastes if you try it.
lol. Yeah, I highly doubt they'll taste the same. I'll stop by the store today and get the chocolates I need. Also, I'm having a hard time finding sugar free jello! Isn't what weird? I know it exists and I've seen them before but I'm gonna have to go to different stores today and see if I can find them. Would like to try the strawberry fat bomb.
I've noticed that I hit my calories, carbs, and sometimes protein macros but never the fat. So that's why I'd love to make some fat bombs to help out.
If you are a bit low on fats some days and not hungry, you could just skip it. We have a large store of excess fats to use when we don't eat as much as intended. Some days I would eat 1000kcal if not hungry but another day I ate 1800+. It was mainly my intake of fats that varied. As long are you aren't eating too low calorie too frequently, I wouldn't worry about going under on a day or too here or there. If it happens a lot, you could always just add a bit more butter, oil, dressing or cheese to your regular food... unless you want a bit of a dessert.
There was a fat bomb thread going in the LCD group for a while. I think one had pureed strawberries and another had raspberries in it. You may want to search through there.0 -

Great tips! Thank you! There have been days where I'm satisfied....and then other days, I can hear my stomach talking whale. The fat bombs would be to curve my cravings for chocolate and sweets. I have a huge sweet tooth and would love to have a little taste of chocolate even though I'm on Keto. So I'll definitely check that out!.0 -

In regards to getting your fat quota....I've been Keto since April. I've lost almost 40 lbs. I only do 20g carbs. I only eat fat for saiety. It is not necessary to eat to your goal. Keep carbs under or at goal. Protein moderate and all the fat you want.... not that you think you should have. I love the low carb forum mentioned earlier.... everyone is amazing!! Lots of great resources.2

So I made the "Just like Nestle Crunch" fat bombs tonight. It's a little too dark chocolatey for me but it taste pretty good. The pork rinds are nice and crispy. Tastes almost like chocolate covered popcorn.0

Thank you for that! I was worried that if I didn't hit my numbers, it would throw my chances off achieving ketosis.0 -
I just went out and bought the ingredients for the peanut butter cups, I'm just going to have to exercise my butt off first I've avoided them for many months..
Wish me luck my friends, and lord give me the strength to walk through the forbidden valley of peanut butter cups and come out the other side unscathed4 -

Good luck! May your will be hardening to steel! I've avoided these, compelled and terrified by your testimony about their irresistible deliciousness.
Fat bombs do help me, as I tend to be low on that macro and I really, really like them. I've adapted recipes using almond flour (almonds, my weakness) and of course sorbitol or other artificial sweetener instead of anything with real sugar. Some recipes have required a bit of trial and error. My favorites are flourless brownies (awesomely moist) and ricotta almond cake. I'm working on a macaron hack also.
Also, I must say, I never ever make them in bulk. I make the minimum batch possible, usually determined by the proportions commensurate with one egg. Because it is oh so easy to overdo.2
