I just bought a Fitbit charge HR this morning and have been wearing it as I work. It's ridiculously inaccurate so far :/ is there some way to fix this?

What hand are you wearing it on? What hand are you dominate with?

Wrist based trackers are nothing more that accelerometers that pick up motion. Try placing your Fitbit on your non-dominate hand since you don't use it as much as you do your dominate one.

Give it a bit more time to get 'used' to you.

you can put it on your non-dominant hand, and tell it it still is. But it's gonna be wonky, just the nature of it.

I have a fitbit one.. I find it more accurate than the wrist ones.. it's just how I feel based on what others have said about them. It's not as fancy or cool working but I have tested it for accuracy and trust it.

I should've mentioned it was inaccurate by giving me thousands of less steps than I had actually taken. From what Cincy said it might not be picking up motion because I'm constantly holding onto a trolley?

That's it exactly. If you're pushing a cart/stroller or such, even carry something in same hand (shopping bags for example), it's best to take it off and put it in a pocket. I do that when I'm out shopping.

I'm going to be honest.. that sucks haha. I guess I need something to wear on my leg so it records the information.

You can clip the One to just about anywhere, but it doesn't do HR and I'm not sure if it does sleep? Can't remember and none of my friends have that one.

I have one and tie it to my shoe when on the treadmill. You can also make a little bag for it and pin it in your bra. Good luck!
