Exercise

I have a lot to loose 13 stone in total so I'm following fitness pal and eating 2,150 calories a day. I have a very sedentary job in an office. I have been going to the gym and doing 35 minutes of steady walking at an incline of 1.0. How many calories would I burn? The treadmill says 150 but I don't input my weight or height. 27 stone and 5ft 11.
Thank you

See what MFP says when you log the same thing, then choose the lower amount of the two.

MFP gives you about 300 calories burned for 35 minutes of treadmill walking in general, but when I put in "walking, 3.5 mph, uphill," the burn went to 600 calories.

It really depends on how fast you're going.

I'd use the numbers MFP gives me and eat 50-75% of the calories back to allow for a margin of error.

Thank you I've not been eating them back. Only started Sunday and so far have lost 7lbs so I guess I can eat them back if I feel the need but so far have felt satisfied enough.

    You've lost 7 lbs in 2 days?

That's a lot of fluid loss

Yeah, I'd imagine this is the case. OP said she weighs 27 stone; 7 lbs of water lost 2 days after the weekend and after cutting calories doesn't really seem that far-fetched.

OP I wouldn't get used to that rate of loss, though. Weight loss isn't linear. If you find yourself not losing 7 lbs every 2 days, don't get discouraged. Two lbs per week on average is a good goal at your weight, and be sure to track your trends over time. You may go up a pound one week and down 3 the next. Just be consistent.

    Good luck!

Thank you I know from previous experience I loose a lot week one and then average out at 2-3lbs. I started at 27 stone 8lbs on Sunday hoping to loose 3-4 stone by Xmas. Thanks for all the comments and advice
