starting AGAIN

Some how I've managed to gain back almost everything that I lost. Totally ready to try this again... and definitely need to stick with it when my weight gets close to my goal.

181lbs... I know the first few pounds are the easiest but I am still surprised to be down 4.5lbs in less than a week

Guess I'm done with the water weight. 181.4 :/

Even with the slight increase, I am happy to say I have remained under my calorie goal everyday so far. And have managed to avoid late night snacks

185.4 last Friday to 179.4 this Friday. My first weigh in was at night and I did chop off 3 inches of hair, which was weighing me down and starting to give me headaches. BUT it does not matter. What matters is that I have met my first goal a week ahead of schedule.

    HIP HIP HORRAY FOR ME!!!

179.2 this morning (last weigh in until Monday).
If I didn't have the late night cooler and pistachios, I may have actually been below 179.
Hopefully I can watch what I eat this long weekend.

Just weighed in after my 4 day vacation of carb overloads and restaurant portions and happy to report that I am 180lbs (so not much of a set back).

Why do you suggest less weigh in?

Weight can fluctuate by several pounds on a day-to-day basis. Mostly because of fluctuations in body water. Weighing frequently, for me, meant seeing an increase after doing really well in a days time and becoming disappointed in the result without really knowing what it meant. You should also not just use weight as a measurement, but try using body dimensions as well (waist, hips, etc.). I weigh once a week. I would suggest doing no more than that, but it's really your preference.

I started again 3 months ago after gaining all my weight back. I get weighed once per week, mainly on a Tuesday, I've lost 16+1/2lb so far - I'm only 4ft 10in and I've gone from 13st 5lb down to 12st 2.4lb
    :)

During morning weigh ins, I find that I'm still lingering in the VERY high 170s. It's been hard to motivate myself to exercise after work (especially because I spend a total of 4 hours commuting each day). So I don't know how I'm going to lose 10 lbs by Halloween.
