Hey, I've been doing Lou Schulers 3 day total body workout for over a year now and decided to mix things up and start a 4 day Upper/Lower body split. Found a few on the internet but all seem much of a muchness. What do more experienced people think of this one?

Or if anyone has any better ones to point me to?

Here is one: http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/the-muscle-building-workout-routine/
Also, Johnny Candito has a few 4 day programs that you might want to look at. Here's his pdf:

And there's always Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program, for which I suggest you read at least his first book.0 -
Thanks dude. Some good stuff there. Thanks!0

I recommend 5/3/1 as the templates are damn near endless and as long as you keep everything in balance and do was poppa wendler says which is basically summarized as "eat lift sprint kill but have a plan" you can have insane success. Looking back I wish I had spent the last 2 years experimenting with other training methods and just done 5/3/1 and eaten better. I will be returning to it in november after my contest(its not smart switching programs mid prep)
