I was on a low fat diet for a while because I had issues with gall stones and had surgery. I continued the low fat diet for a while but the doctor said to try the foods I used to eat to see how they affect my body. So I did. Now I can't stop eating the high fat foods and crave them like before. I need moral support to help me get back on the wagon because I have gained back 7 lbs that I was so proud to have lost........:frown:

eep! that can be quite tricky.
just remember how hard you've been working. it looks like you've made some amaazing progress! don't trade that away for a few moments of relief. maybe chew some gum or go to a place where there isn't as much temptation?

I also had gall bladder surgery...years ago. It is hard for me to process fresh veggies and fruit. Are you having that problem? Maybe the high fat foods don't hurt? Try analyzing what your body is telling you when you eat, and include lean proteins in every meal.0

do you remember how great you felt when you'd eat low fat food? just focus on that feeling... and drink lots of water, it'll help bellcurve any extra eating in general. also, allow yourself a treat every now and then too... all good and no fun might make for a bingefest!0

You can do it!!! Don't buy the bad stuff when you go food shopping, then you won't have it in your house! Don't go food shopping hungry. Make a list and stick to it. Try the rainbow diet--see how many different colors you can eat in a day (fruits and veggies--nothing else counts).

alter those foods you love and are craving. Make low fat versions of them. If its chocolate you love eat just a few kisses per day. Good luck. You will get so much encouragement here on mfp from others.0 -
Try to get in at least 100gm of protein and half your body weight in water and your body will reajust its self, I feel you will have fewer cravings. It worked for me0

I haven't had problems with fruits and veggies, just corn LoL and the high fatty foods seem to pass thru a little quicker but so far no major problems. I think the protein is my problem too, I don't eat enough and I try to eat protein bars once in a while but it's not the same0 -
thank you all so much!! You all have helped a lot and I truly appreciate it :flowerforyou:0
