So I'm normally hungry after I workout in the late evening or into the night, I crave fruit but not sure if it's ok to eat late at night or not

Go for it. That old diet myth about gaining weight if you eat after a certain time is completely made up. As long as you don't go over your calorie goal for the day, you'll lose/maintain (whatever you're aiming for) no matter when you have your food.

I work late at night so Monday-Thursday I actually eat my dinner around 12pm. This has not slowed my weight loss at all.

Late night food is not more calorific than the same food eaten earlier in the day. As long as the calories are accounted for the timing is irrelevant.

If your body is telling you it needs food, listen to it and eat :)
There are no rules as to when you can eat.

It's pretty normal to be hungry after a work-out - You've just burnt a large amount of calories and your body needs some fuel. I love porridge (Oatmeal) or banana's after a high intensity burn. It definitely fills me up!

Yeah after a late night workout no big deal sometimes I get home 9 930 and I'll pump in 2 - 300 maybe more calories based on how hungry I am and as long as it fits within my caloric goals. There are some days when I blow over my caloric goals and I figure my body needs it so I do it.

If within your calorie goals it is perfectly okay. and I always have a snack after working out. Otherwise my blood sugar tanks.

Calorie wise it doesn't matter what time you eat. If you have issues with GERD then you might not want to eat right before laying down, but otherwise if it fits your goal then go for it.

If you're hungry, then eat. After a workout is as good time as any, and may even be more beneficial than we think.

On certain days I don't have dinner until after 9pm. I normally will have a chocolate chip cookie or two around 10:30pm. My weight loss has not suffered. Just make sure it fits in your calorie goals and you'll be fine.

I have been eating fruit after my workouts so I don't feel so hungry afterwards
