Calories in a bag of pop secret microwave popcorn?

The nutritional info on the box says one serving is 2 spoonfuls un popped but it says one cup is 45 calories or something so I calculated the whole bag is 450 calories does that sound like a ball park number or am I way off?

For as long as I remember I've been calculating microwave popcorn at under 500 calories for the bag

    Yeh. It sounds right. It's why I buy the 100 calorie bags.

    Sounds right to me! I've always logged popcorn this way (whole bag) it accounts for the entire bag content; -hasn't had any negative effects on weight loss for me.

    Figuring that popcorn out is beyond irritating. I've given up and started buying kernels and popping my own in the microwave.

    I guess you estimation is about right though.

    Way back when, I used to eat microwave popcorn and I have it in my head that in those days a bag of microwave popcorn was about the same number of calories as a Costco muffin ... 750-800 cal.

    But that was a good 12+ years ago.
