PIck up a good multi-vitamin. I usually take GNC for men or Advocare products. They seem to make me feel better and have more energy.0

Most multis don't contain much, if any potassium. Google potassium rich foods, and start incorporating more of those.0 -

Really? I guess I should google how much we need.0 -
I don't know about potassium helping with that, but you shouldn't just take a potassium suplement without your Dr's supervision (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-information/DR602373)
For bloating, I take probiotics. And to prevent retaining water you have to watch your sodium intake. I don't know what can make it "go away".
Good luck!0 -
There are many foods higher in potassium then bananas. Check this link.....

Eating fruits and vegetables will raise your daily potassium intake. All fresh fruits and vegetables contain potassium and it balances out your sodium intake. Everyday you probably want to strive for a 4 to 1 ( and higher) ratio of potassium to sodium. More processed foods = high sodium levels. More fresh fruit and veg = high potassium levels.
You can easily (very tasty too!) raise your potassium daily with one large (16ozs) fresh fruit smoothie! Use only fruit, water, ice. (small amount of 100% juice can be added)0 -
I use salt substitues as potassium sources. I mix 1/2 tsp in water in a shot glass, drink it fast and have a big glass of water to follow it. The taste is pretty bad, but it's only for a second. I find the Morton brand more tolerable than Nu-Salt. I started this for leg cramps at night and it has worked great. The 1/2 tsp gives 1220 mg of potassium, sometimes I'll have a "dose" in the morning and again before bed, making it 2440 mg. Just to be safe I think it would be a good idea to ask a doctor before doing this (even tho I haven't )0
