I really need help and motivation from other people that know the struggle of trying to lose the baby weight! I was only 5 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight 2 months after I had my daughter and than gained 20 pounds in 6 months because I love food. I eat when I'm bored and I'm never full. I've tried Herbalife and loved it and saw amazing results but I don't have the money to go on with the program, so I need motivation from other mommies to help me lose weight the old fashioned way!

Welcome to MFP! Counting calories is free, and I lost more than 70 pounds with MFP, all for free - just by counting calories. You can do this!

I know the feeling mother of 4 here I started counting almost 2wks ago & with exercising lost 6 lbs. Not sure where you live but I go to a moms workout group from Herbelife it's also free maybe you can look into that. And oh yes their shakes are amazing but not the prices which sucks you could lose so much weight using it. Walmart has this shakes I used cost $10 its called naturade soy pretty good for being 10 bucks.

Thanks for the support! I've been counting calories and working out everyday for a week and a half now and haven't lost a pound. Being a stay at home mom being really lazy to eating better and working out I thought I would see results but nothing yet so that's where I get frustrated and the support comes in! My husband loves me either way but I just want to feel better for myself so I can feel better for him!

Hey there! Im in the same boat; I had my second baby in February and feel like I'm in a physical rut. Granted, I needed too loose weight previous to having my little bundle. I feel I was more active before, now not so much. Today is day 1 for me, but I started walking a local trail last week 3xs a week, my goal is to maintain that for 3 weeks, then bump it up, and watch what I eat more closely. The goal is to loose 40 lbs, trying for a pound a week, but to be honest I'd be happy just to see the scale move at all. Lol
We can do this! And I know I'm so ready to do it!!!

I'm all for the slow and steady approach too. I've lost 43pounds so far by losing about a pound or 2 each week. Feel free to add me and there's a supportive group of mums here http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/113945-fit-fabulous-postpartum
