Born of Osiris has fuelled my last three days of lifting PRs.

It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm doing strength training I listen to rap or rock. When I'm on the elliptical I watch wrestling.2

None at all. I find music to be an incredible distraction.0

Rock/heavy metal. Rob zombie is awesome on the treadmill1

Why is this a debate?2

Rocky 3 win0
-
Rock, death metal, death rock/goth rock, industrial.1
-
Heaven Shall Burn or Whitechapel for lifting, unless I'm in a hardcore mood then it's Earth Crisis, early Snapcase, Sick of it All or Agnostic Front.
For cardio I like it more melodic like In Flames. Dark Tranquility is good for pushing that last mile, especially Lost to Apathy or Focus Shift.0 -
Depending on my mood. Either Christian Rock, country, or Daughtry.0

And we have our wicker man. Get her.0 -
I like to mix it up but two songs I really groove to when I'm walking are "The Thong Song" & "Bad Girlfriend"1

Studio Killers and Ninja Sex Party. Always a good time, and the NSP songs are short enough that I can time my runs with walking breaks into a playlist0

I used to listen to music, now I lift in silence (I lift at home so it's possible).
That way I can completely focus on what I'm doing, and be mindful.0 -
Anything with a decent "beat" to it - Queen, Bon Jovi, Ultravox, Adele, Alannah Miles, David Bowie, Enrique, Def Leppard . . . I also like rock, in case you hadn't guessed1

I have a short workout playlist that changes constantly for walking at lunch for work, this is what's on it now: Sabotage(Beastie Boys), Pretty Fly for a White Guy(The Offspring), Monster(Skillet), Hardcore(Reignwolf).
For longer workout at home, I like the full album experience, or a playlist from one artist. Currently into The Pale Emperor from Marilyn Manson, Awake and Comatose from Skillet, and a Lady Gaga compliation that includes Born This Way, Teeth, Bad Romance, Schiebe, Love Game, and Poker Face. Also occasionally revisit my youth with Anthrax, Metalica and Nirvana.

I was liftng a few days ago and I had a CD on ( I know - as CD how quaint )
It was an old mixed CD and I put it on to see what was on it.
First few tunes are excellent - Pantera, Kid Rock, Eminem all really crunchy aggressive stuff.
So I let it run.
I'm benching, I'm struggling onmy last few reps, I'm really struggling on my last and what comes on the CD?
Beth by Kiss - that is NOT song to push out a final rep to.
But now, we know!1 -
Britney Spears Pandora does the trick LOL1

ABBA! I can't not skip to Take a Chance on Me when I'm walking. Also, My Darkest Days Porn Star Dancing is great and All I do is Win, and Eminem 8 mile. Oh gosh...so many good ones.0

Break out the pitchforks, folks. I have to have instrumental so that I can count laps for distance (I don't have a snazzy GPS or step calculator) so I go with Chopin and Vivaldi. XD2
