It's so frustrating trying to get back on track.
Everyday I say to myself I wont have junk food I always ruin my day. I feel so good eating heathly then I have a big bag of chips or ice cream feel completing guilty and bloated with pains in my stomach (which you would think would teach me a lesson) but no I'll do it again. Ugh

Anyone have this same problem or any tips ???
Thanks

I'm trying to think of something supportive to say while my brain shouts "Hallelujah it's not just me that does this!". In my work and with my kids I can make myself do whatever it takes to get the job done - I work long hours, am renovating a house, am a single mum.....and it all gets done regardless of how I feel. Face me with a bag of crisps though (particularly the new cheese and cucumber flavour) and all will power disappears! What doesn't disappear is that whingy nasty proddy little voice that tells me what a total loser I am for doing it and beats me up for hours afterwards. I think it may be that it's hard to congratulate yourself on NOT doing something - you don't get a round of applause for not eating crisps in the way you do for, say, going to the gym.

It's all about distraction! Have low calorie snacks, or even sometimes I have a can of diet soft drink to take away sweets cravings and chewing on ice helps me too !

I find seltzer water with a lil flavor helps, the carbonation fills the tummy but no artificial sweeteners. Also a good bedtime tea with honey works, can't eat if I'm sleeping!

I am back at it as well, and have been losing weight these past few weeks on my normal lifestyle. I eat what I like, and do not exercise. I just fit it within my kcals, which are set at 1200 kcal unfortunately. It makes for stupid choices, like an all-chocolate 400 kcal lunch (won't do that again), but for now, this is the thing I can continue effortlessly. Last night, I had 91 kcals to spare, I chose to eat 21 gr of chips in stead of a piece of fruit. Way more my style. Part one of my plan: from fat to skinny fat. Part two will be body recomp, so better foods and working out. I will hate that part probably.
