Looking for tips and tricks to lose weight fast

Hi, i have been on the site for a bit and have lost a few pounds nothing big. I need motivational friends who will not sugar coat when I go astray. Looking to lose about 20 pounds...

    A few pounds is great progress - well done :)
    As for 'Tips and Tricks' to lose weight fast - There are no tips and tricks to speed up the weight loss process. It is all about eating less than you burn. Calories in, Calories out. Don't buy into fads or 'quick fixes' - they are usually money making scams and aren't sustainable or effective. Stick to the MFP way and you'll have no trouble losing the weight you want to lose.     I recommend committing to doing extra exercise if you're still hungry after hitting your calorie goals, or planning out exercise in advance so you have extra calories available. That way, you still only eat your designated calorie count, but don't have to feel like you are starving. I've been doing that, and I don't feel deprived at all. Also, on days when I have no energy, I just eat less and don't have to worry. This seems to be the major reason I'm having success right now.

    When I switched to a plant based diet, I lost 9 pounds in one week. But I ended up regaining like 7 pounds in water weight. .__.

    You need to eat healthy and exercise daily. It's as simple as that

    Stick to a caloric deficit and you will lose. There are no quick fixes/tricks. Weigh your food. Log everything you eat/drink. Have patience.

    Drop the carbs, drink alot of water, get adequate protein and walk everyday
